This is a picture of a boardwalk near my aunt and uncles house. We had some nice days last week so my friends and I decided to hit the beach one last time before the winter rolls around. The top picture is the cropped version of a basic snap shot I took. Its really amazing how differently pictures can look after being cropped!

ReplyDeleteI love the long narrow picture with just the bridge. Your eye really follows the whole length of the bridge, and even the shape of the canvas is more interesting than the original photo with the original dimensions.
ReplyDeleteThe cropped boardwalk photo looks great; very nostalgic of an earlier, simpler time.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how by simply cropping, a photo can tell a completely different story by changing the vantage point. Nice job and I especially like how you chose black and white instead of color - gives it a nostalgic feeling to it.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right what the cropping can do. This particular cropping gave the photo a panoramic view. Very nice!
